In 1991 Louise Braverman, a graduate of the Yale School of Architecture, established her own architectural firm, Louise Braverman, Architect. She was a recipient of the esteemed New York Architectural League’s Emerging Voice in 1996 and elevated to fellowship in the American Institute of Architects, an honor that is bestowed on the architectural leadership of the field, in 2008. Ms. Braverman regularly contributes to the field by serving on design award juries including the 2012 Chicago Athenaeum GOOD DESIGN Awards jury and the 2014 AIA National Housing Awards jury. Last year she presented the work of her firm at the 2012 Venice Architecture Biennale and has recently been invited to return to Venice to present again at the upcoming 2014 Biennale.
